Sabugal Council promotes initiatives within the scope of the Alto Côa Nautical Station

As part of ENAC – Alto Côa Nautical Station, the Municipality of Sabugal organised a series of activities at Devesa River Beach and Sabugal Reservoir.

The Municipality of Sabugal explains that “this initiative arose following the ENAC certification and as a way of boosting nautical activities in the territory, with the aim of giving the young people of the municipality the opportunity to experience different sports: rowing, sailing, canoeing and stand up paddle”.

The activities were promoted by the Municipality of Sabugal, in partnership with the Portuguese Federations of Canoeing, Rowing and Sailing, Fórum Oceano, the Guarda Nautical Activities Sports Training Centre, the Sabugal School Group and other Entities.

On the weekend of 7th and 8th June, at Praia Fluvial da Devesa, a training camp for the Regional Cadet Selection of the Centro Canoeing Association also took place.
