Winners of the 5G Challenge announced. Prizes exceed 30 thousand euros

The 5G Challenge returned for its third edition with the aim of driving digital transformation in Portuguese companies and organizations.

This initiative stood out for giving participants the unprecedented opportunity to test the potential of a 5G virtual private mobile network, through the Private Custom Network solution.

After a short presentation of the 10 finalists in Lisbon, in person and online, the 3 winners were finally announced:

5G Technological Innovation (€20,000)

Winner : Vologram Messages for Academia | Volograms (Ireland)

Solution that transforms ordinary videos into immersive 3D holograms, easy to create and share. It works on mobile devices and can be transmitted via 5G, making communication more personal and interactive, without the need for specialized equipment.

Best Solution of Portuguese Origin (€10,000 - for 100% national companies)

Winner: Verbo | Ledovox LDA (Portugal)

AI-powered Push-to-Talk communication platform designed for field teams in critical sectors. Uses 5G for fast voice communications, integrates intelligent assistants and automates tasks, improving operational efficiency and safety.

Sustainability and Social Impact (€1,000 voucher in the MEO Empresas Online Store)

Winner: Amelia Survey | Amelia Hub SL (Spain)

SaaS tool for uploading, processing and analyzing 3D files in areas such as construction and mining. It allows you to generate reports, measure distances and adjust boundaries in 3D models, optimizing decision-making and workflow.
