Eixo and Eirol promote weekend of flavors, music and local talent
Augusto Canário is the headliner of the Summer Festival that starts tomorrow night and which «is a reflection of the collective spirit» of this parish in Aveiro

Between tomorrow and Sunday, the parish of Eixo and Eirol will be the “stage” for “a lively Summer Festival”, which will bring together residents, visitors and local associations “in an atmosphere of sharing, conviviality and community celebration”. The event will feature the “active participation” of local associations, which will set up food and drink stalls, offering “a true showcase of traditional flavours and home-made snacks”. From succulent bifanas to sweet treats, there will be plenty of options to suit all tastes, “always accompanied by a smile and a welcoming spirit”. Sara Rocha, president of the Parish Council, highlighted in a press release that the associations will also showcase “their talents and projects, with musical performances, cultural demonstrations, recreational activities and lots of entertainment”. The mayor referred to “a true showcase of the parish’s associative dynamism, showing that unity and community involvement are the soul of these meetings”.

In terms of musical entertainment, the highlight will be the show by Augusto Canário, who will perform from 4 pm next Sunday. In turn, Cantares de Santa Eulália, Banda Índice and DJ Miguel Costa will take over tomorrow night, from 9 pm.
