Free course teaches CTGs how to raise public funds for cultural projects

The Secretariat of Culture of Rio Grande do Sul (Sedac) and the Movimento Tradicionalista Gaúcho (MTG) are accepting applications for the course "CTGs em Movimento - accessing public resources to promote culture", which will train members of Gaucho Tradition Centers in the preparation and management of cultural projects financed by public resources.

The training will be held in person on May 24, from 8 am to 6 pm, at 35 CTG, located at Avenida Ipiranga, 5300, in Porto Alegre. Registration is free and must be completed using the online electronic form.

The course is aimed at regional coordinators of the MTG, directors and members of CTGs, as well as people involved in the cultural and administrative management of the entities. The content covers the main mechanisms for promoting culture, such as the Law of Incentive to Culture (LIC/RS), the Culture Support Fund (FAC/RS), the Aldir Blanc National Policy (PNAB) and the Cultura Viva program, focusing on the realities and needs of traditionalism in Rio Grande do Sul.

In addition to providing technical guidance, the registration form will also collect data on the profile and experiences of participants, serving as a basis for planning new MTG training actions.

The event is promoted by the MTG Projects Department, with support from the Coordination of Gaucho Traditionalism and the Sedac Development Department.
