Hip Hop Competition takes place today in Gafanha da Nazaré

The Fábrica das Ideias da Gafanha da Nazaré will host the Hip Hop Competition today at 9 pm, promoted by the municipality of Ílhavo. There will be 61 participants on stage, distributed across eight groups, including a group of people with disabilities from the Portuguese Association of Parents and Friends of the Mentally Disabled (APPACDM) from Viseu.

Aged between 9 and 42, the competitors will be evaluated by a jury composed of Bboy Magik, dancer, Luísa Silva, choreographer and dance teacher, and Mariana Ramos, councilor for Culture and Creativity of the municipality.

The three best groups will receive cash prizes of 500 (1st place), 250 (2nd place) and 150 euros (3rd place).

The presentation will be given by Luísa Vilarinho, a young woman from Gafanha da Encarnação, and during the interval, the rapper from Ilhavo SKIDOW (VASKID), linked to TunnelRecords and the group CNK, will take to the stage.

Entry is free, with tickets available at the Ílhavo Cultural Center and the Gafanha da Nazaré Ideas Factory.
