Selected works by ceramist António Vasconcelos Lapa exhibited in Silves

The pieces, meticulously selected, are part of the collection belonging to the Luís Negrão and Family collection, curated by Hugo Santos Silva.

The exhibition, dedicated exclusively to the display of some of the most emblematic works by the artist António Vasconcelos Lopes , introduces the public to the author's wonderful and dreamlike universe, an explosion of different colors and shapes.

From circus imagery, fantastic flora, impossible animals, sculptural ceramics and even panels that follow the tradition of Portuguese tiles.

Promoted by Silves City Council, this exhibition aims to promote and disseminate Portuguese contemporary art and national visual artists, contributing to expanding opportunities for cultural enjoyment and simultaneously developing social, relationship, expression and critical thinking skills.
