Euronext bets on AI and automation to speed up processes

The group will combine services into a single portal, whose functions will be simplified by new technologies. One of the priorities for 2025 is to “diversify” the offer. And it continues to accept acquisitions.
Isabel Ucha, President of Euronext
Generative artificial intelligence. This is Euronext Lisbon's commitment to simplify and accelerate processes in the Lisbon market. From the automation of board minutes to the review of contracts, Euronext will invest in new technologies to make operations more efficient in all countries in which it is present, including Portugal.
Isabel Ucha, CEO of Euronext Lisbon, intends to use GenIA to automate services and increase their efficiency. The services in question already have 4,800 clients in Europe, of which “around 20” are in Portugal. This is the case for investor relations, ESG (environment, social and governance) consulting and compliance, among others that Euronext already offers. All will now be integrated into a single portal.
The features are under development, but it is already possible to say that they will facilitate the speed of prospecting, as well as reviewing contracts, which will allow the admission processes to be accelerated.
