Mealhada launches competition for the requalification of the Pampilhosa Health Center

The Mealhada City Council reported that it launched, this week, a public tender for the requalification of the Pampilhosa Health Centre, with a base value of 720 thousand euros and an execution period of 180 days.

“The project for the Caminhos do Cértima Family Health Unit, in Pampilhosa, aims to requalify the infrastructure, namely with regard to energy efficiency and accessibility, quality, comfort and safety conditions for users and professionals”, he highlighted.

In a press release, Mealhada City Council indicated that interior and exterior work will be carried out, including facades, walls and ceilings, painting and insulation, flooring, carpentry, renovation of bathrooms and window frames.

In addition to this project, the requalification of the Mealhada Health Center and the requalification of the Luso Health Center are also up for tender.

The works in the health area, in the municipality of Mealhada (Aveiro district), are part of two notices of the Recovery and Resilience Plan (RRP), and were awarded financing of 1,786,600 euros for the Mealhada Health Center, 608,520 euros for the Pampilhosa Health Center and 377,200 euros for the Luso Health Center.

Also this week, Mealhada City Council awarded the construction of the Official Animal Collection Center (CROA), for around 570 thousand euros.

The Center will be located in the Pedrulha Industrial Zone and will be built on a single floor, with several areas, namely support service facilities, a kennel with 23 indoor and outdoor cells and two quarantine cells, a cattery with three indoor and outdoor cells, a vehicle disinfection area and a refrigeration area.

The project also includes the surrounding area, with a 96.22 square meter recreational space.
