Nvidia is once again the most valuable company in the world

Nvidia, the technology company led by Jensen Huang, has once again become the most valuable in the world in terms of market value ( market cap ), with a valuation of 3.7 trillion dollars (or trillions in the North American denomination), which is equivalent to 3.1 trillion euros.

In this way, Nvidia surpasses Microsoft, which has a market cap of 3.6 billion dollars (three billion euros). The podium is closed by Apple with three billion dollars (2.5 billion euros).

The list of the most valuable listed companies in the world also includes Amazon, Alphabet (owner of Google), Saudi Aramco, Meta, Berkshire Hathaway, Broadcom, and TSMC, according to the ranking by brokerage firm Axi.

Nvidia is up 1% in premarket trading on Thursday, to $156 ($133.1). Last Wednesday, Nvidia hit its all-time high, reached in January of this year, at $154.3 ($131.6 euros) per share.

In the first quarter, Nvidia saw its revenues rise 69%, from 26 to 44 billion dollars (37.5 billion euros), net income grow 26%, from 14.8 to 18.7 billion dollars (12.6 to 15.9 billion euros), and operating profit accelerate 28%, from 16.9 to 21.6 billion dollars (14.4 to 18.4 billion euros).
