Carolina Dieckmann is moved to tears when she talks about missing Preta Gil: 'Greater than the pain'
Carolina Dieckmann surprised internet users this Monday, September 1st, by posting a special photo of Preta Gil. A friend of the singer, who passed away in July of this year after battling cancer, the actress found a huge painting with the artist's photo and made a point of paying tribute to her.
On social media, Carol shared the photo and said that, despite mourning, the fact that she won't see her friend again hasn't sunk in yet.
" Yesterday I came across this painting and asked Emilie to take a picture. I know, it just won't sink in. I still find myself taking out my phone to send you a message every now and then, I still feel myself smiling just thinking about you, I still find myself trying to believe... What do you mean, you're not coming back??? ", he said.
And he continued: " But within EVERYTHING I feel, there is your joy, your laughter. Even when I'm about to cry, you put a smile on my face. It was sooooo good, that the blessing of having had you will always be greater than the pain of having lost you. I swear I will never stop thanking you... ever. My love!!! "
It's worth remembering that Preta Gil died on July 20th, at the age of 50, after a long battle with cancer. The singer was undergoing treatment in the United States.
