The atmosphere was one of enthusiasm, confidence and commitment, at a time that had the public support of two political figures: Cristóvão Norte, candidate for Faro City Council and president of PSD Algarve, and Macário Correia, candidate for president of the Municipal Assembly .

Cristóvão Norte delivered a speech marked by strong words of hope and recognition. He highlighted the spirit of unity that has driven this candidacy and Virgínia Alpestana's ability to represent "something greater than a simple political position."

"We will do for this municipality what no one has ever managed to do, as we have already done by uniting parties that have never before been together in the history of Portuguese democracy," said Norte.

He also emphasized the candidate's human and approachable nature: "Virginia isn't just president, she's a leader, an inspiration. She's someone who understands, encourages, listens, and supports, even when things are tough. She represents what we all long for in a friend, a family member, and now, a political representative."

Macário Correia, in turn, reinforced confidence in the project with a pragmatic and determined intervention. He emphasized that there is much to be done and that the path requires method and continuity.

"We know what needs to be done. Problems aren't solved overnight, but rather with a plan and persistence. That's what we're here for," he stated.

Their experience and vision reinforced the idea that this candidacy is prepared to face the real challenges of the parish, with special attention to mobility, parking, and urban cleanliness, issues that concern citizens.

This re-election is led by businessman Eliseu Correia, a locally respected figure known for his civic and social involvement.

Our strength lies in our commitment to people. Proximity, listening, and dialogue are the foundations of our work."

Acknowledging the challenges that persist in the parish, he assured, "Together, we will overcome the problems of mobility, street cleanliness, and everything that concerns those who live here. I'm here for that—and much more," he explained.

Retired teacher and former regional director of the Portuguese Youth Institute [now IPDJ], Virgínia Alpestana also emphasized the value of teamwork and community action: "We will overcome these problems. Here, no one is left out. Everyone counts."
