Rumble and Trump Media's new lawsuit against Moraes in the US

Rumble and Trump Media once again sued the Florida courts on Monday, the 14th, against a ruling by Supreme Court Justice Alexandre de Moraes . Information about the lawsuit, which is being processed under court secrecy, was revealed by UOL .
The companies are contesting an order issued by Moraes last Friday, the 11th, to remove posts by US-based Bolsonaro supporter Rodrigo Constantino and share his data. The order stipulated a daily fine of R$100,000 for noncompliance.
Moraes signed the ruling two days after US President Donald Trump announced a 50% tariff on imports of Brazilian products. In the letter announcing the measure, the tycoon spread misinformation about the Supreme Court case against Jair Bolsonaro (PL) and accused the court of issuing "hundreds of secret and illegal censorship orders to US social media platforms."
"Since the minister's order has no practical purpose and was sent two days after President Trump's letter, this can only be interpreted as a direct response to President Trump's letter, which refers to big tech companies being expelled from Brazil, which is an allusion to Rumble," Martin De Luca, representing the companies in the lawsuit, told UOL .
On Monday the 7th, Moraes was the target of another US subpoena in a lawsuit filed by Rumble and Trump Media. Both claim that the minister engaged in censorship by ordering social media profiles blocked.
The companies' central argument is that the judge violated US laws by demanding the removal of content or the suspension of profiles in the United States.
The subpoena gave the minister 21 days to present his defense. If there is no response, Moraes will be tried in absentia—a situation in which the case moves forward based solely on the plaintiffs' allegations.
