Internacional seeks to sign Colombian midfielder from Talleres

Internacional's board of directors made an offer for midfielder Juan Portilla, from Talleres, Argentina. Initially, the Argentine club rejected the offer, but negotiations are still ongoing. Colorado is competing for the player's signature with Atlético-MG and River Plate.
According to the newspaper Zero Hora, Inter offered around US$3 million for 50% of the Colombian midfielder's economic rights. The president of Talleres considered the amounts below market value and what Juan can earn, especially due to competition with other interested clubs. The release clause is around US$6 million (approximately R$32 million).
