Among the Novgorodians who were the best at driving a bus was the female driver

The annual professional skills competition for public transport drivers took place yesterday in Veliky Novgorod. This year, 14 drivers from the regional capital, Borovichi, and Staraya Russa participated. The competitors drove both LiAZ and PAZ buses. Exercises included tunnel gates, driving around a loop, driving in a serpentine pattern forward and backward, approaching a bus stop, and entering a garage.

Among the winners were five Novgorodians and one Borovichi resident. Among the PAZ bus drivers, the results were as follows:

• 1st place – Pavel Belov, JSC “Bus Park”,
• 2nd place – Panov Fedor, JSC “Bus Park”,
• 3rd place – Vladimir Velikoraysky, Moshenskoye PATP LLC.

All the winners in the LiAZ trucks were from Veliky Novgorod, and a woman took second place. The exact results are as follows:

• 1st place – Mikhail Vasiliev LLC “FABUS VN”,
• 2nd place – Vasileva Margarita, JSC “Bus Park”,
• 3rd place – Dmitry Nikitin, JSC “Bus Park”.
