The ferry Princess Maria, which sailed from St. Petersburg to European cities, was sold for scrap in Turkey . This was reported by the Finnish publication Moottori .
It is noted that in 2010, St. Peter Line acquired the ship and began operating cruises to St. Petersburg from Helsinki , Tallinn and Stockholm . At that time, Princess Maria sailed under the flag of Malta , as both the ship and the owner company were registered there.
In 2016, the ferry was transferred to the Italian company Moby Lines and was renamed Moby Dada. In June 2022, the ship left for the port of Messina in Sicily and never returned to Russia.
