Novgorod Region plans to surprise with virtual Kremlin and sign large-scale agreements at SPIEF

This week, the Northern capital will host the XXVIII St. Petersburg International Economic Forum. Its business program is scheduled for four days, from June 18 to 21. Novgorod Oblast will be among the permanent participants. Representatives of our region plan to sign 30 important agreements.
As a source of the Novgorod Region government specifies, about half of the documents (namely 14) are investment agreements with a total investment volume of over 20 billion rubles. In total, almost 1,800 jobs are planned to be created during the implementation of the projects.
As for the accents, the Novgorod Region stand at this year's forum will reflect the natural wealth of Valdai, complemented by modern infrastructure and continuous development of the region's economy, tourism, education, and public amenities.
"To emphasize the theme of nature, natural materials were used in the design of the stand: wood, moss, plants. The stand screens will show films about the investment and tourism potential of the region, its achievements. An interactive card index will allow guests of the stand to get acquainted with large projects implemented in the Novgorod region," the developers of the stand provide details.
Another noteworthy detail is that forum guests will be able to take a virtual tour of the Novgorod Kremlin and the Great Valdai Trail, using VR glasses.
