It is warm, sunny and dry in St. Petersburg today. It will warm up to +21°C during the day, said Mikhail Leus, a leading weather forecaster at the Fobos center.

"Today, the Northern capital will feel the influence of the anticyclone ridge. Stretching from the southwest, it will protect the region from the invasion of rain clouds and, together with the winds of the southern points, will help the sun's rays to activate daytime heating," the specialist noted.

According to him, the air temperature in the city during the day will be +19…+21°C, in the Leningrad region it will be up to +17…+22°C. A south wind is blowing in the region at a speed of 4-9 m/s. Atmospheric pressure is below normal - 754 mm Hg.

However, rains will return to St. Petersburg tomorrow, Leus warned. At night, the temperature will drop to +12…+14°C, and during the day it will be within the range of +16…+18°C.
