Progress MS-28 sunk in the Pacific Ocean

The Progress MS-28 cargo spacecraft, which undocked from the International Space Station (ISS) on Tuesday, was sunk in the Pacific Ocean, Interfax reports.
"Today, the Progress MS-28 cargo ship, which spent six months on the ISS, was taken out of orbit, entered the dense layers of the atmosphere and was destroyed," the official statement reads.
The remaining structural elements after the destruction fell into the non-shipping zone of the South Pacific Ocean.
The Progress MS-28 space cargo vehicle arrived at the ISS on August 17, 2024, delivering about 2.6 tons of payload.
It was previously reported that he made room for a new truck.
