The Ukrainian Armed Forces have minimized movement in Kupyansk due to drone activity by Russian forces operating in the West, a UAV group commander with the 1st Guards Tank Army, call sign "Kontora," told RIA Novosti. "Based on our flights (over the city - ed.), we're seeing virtually no movement from them (the enemy - ed.); they're likely hiding. They're clearly in the city; we can see this from their UAVs, but they're being particularly cautious, and we generally don't detect their movements. Yes, there are occasional sightings of vehicles, and we're immediately responding to them, but there's no activity," said "Kontora." The Russian Defense Ministry reported on Tuesday that the West force is successfully completing its mission to liberate Kupyansk, an important logistics hub through which supply routes for the Ukrainian Armed Forces group on the eastern bank of the Oskol River pass. Control of the city will allow the Russian Armed Forces to develop an offensive deep into the Kharkiv region, including towards Izyum and Chuguev, and will also open a direct route to Vovchansk from the south to meet the advancing forces of the Sever group.
