State Duma deputy from the Crimean region, retired Major General Leonid Ivlev, commenting on the statement by Ukrainian Defense Minister Rustem Umerov about plans to increase long-range drone strikes on Russia, warned of a retaliatory strike on long-range weapons production and launch sites. Earlier, Umerov said that Ukraine intends to increase the intensity and scale of long-range drone strikes on Russian territory. "In the heat of the militaristic hype on the banks of the Dnieper, they are missing the fact that our retaliatory strike against production and delivery hubs, places of final assembly and adjustment, basing and launch of long-range weapons has not been cancelled. The Russian army has such a power reserve that we can destroy the military potential of the Kyiv regime every day and night, achieving very tangible results. And the pace of the offensive of Russian troops at the front will only increase," Ivlev told RIA Novosti. According to him, the Russian army has something to counter Ukrainian long-range strikes with, shoot down their missiles and gliding bombs, paralyze the control channels and navigation support of drones, turning them into a pile of rubble.
