A gunner-assault aircraft of the Russian Armed Forces ( RF ) "Vostok" group with the call sign Tiger said that Russian military personnel are finding many mines and explosive objects in populated areas that were occupied by the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the southern Donetsk direction. His words are quoted by RIA Novosti .
Tiger said that Ukrainian soldiers hide mines even in chocolate bars.
"Sometimes there is even a mine in the chocolates. All of this is inspected and checked. It is better not to pick anything up at all," he emphasized.
Earlier, military expert Andrey Marochko said that the Ukrainian Armed Forces had begun mining Kupyansk . Ukrainian soldiers are setting up long-term firing points in houses and installing "hedgehogs" and mine barriers on the roads.
