ST. PETERSBURG, June 19 - RIA Novosti. Hungary plans to import 8-8.5 billion cubic meters of gas from Russia in 2025, said Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto on the sidelines of the SPIEF. "This year, as you know, we have a long-term contract, according to which 4.5 billion cubic meters of gas are supplied. Plus we have additional contracts. So I am almost certain that the capacity of the Turkish Stream gas pipeline will be used to the maximum. Thus, we are talking about 8-8.5 billion cubic meters, which in total will be supplied to Hungary," he told reporters. Szijjarto also expressed hope that approximately the same volumes of supplies will be in 2026. The St. Petersburg International Economic Forum is being held from June 18 to 21.
