The beginning of October in Veliky Novgorod will be cold but bright.

The regional capital is experiencing a steady decline in temperature. The last days of September, the 29th and 30th, will see daytime temperatures no warmer than +11°C, although a warming to +13°C is possible starting Thursday, October 2nd. However, according to the Novgorod Hydrometeorological Center, overnight temperatures will not drop below +1°C. However, frosts down to -1°C to -4°C are possible across the region from September 28th to 30th – many have already received such SMS warnings. Weather monitoring services are not yet forecasting precipitation; sunny skies will prevail over the next few days.
The strongest wind is today, northeasterly, with gusts up to 8 m/s. Over the next two days, it will shift to easterly and calm slightly (to 1-2 m/s, with moderate gusts up to 4-5 m/s).
As a reminder, the heating season begins in Veliky Novgorod tomorrow, September 29th. With such a forecast, it's very timely.
