The first computer mouse with a smell has been introduced

Taiwanese corporation Asus has introduced a computer mouse with a smell. This is reported on the company's website .

Asus noted that the Fragrance Mouse is the first computer mouse on the market that you can smell. Inside the device is a bottle into which you can pour aromatic oils. The removable tray can be washed and refilled, filling it with “personalized aromas.”

The company representatives noted that such a computer accessory will allow the user to stand out and give him more opportunities for self-expression. It is not yet known whether Asus will sell aromatic oils for the mouse separately.

Fragrance Mouse connects to the computer via Bluetooth, has physical buttons designed for 10 million clicks, a wheel, adjustable sensor resolution, the gadget runs on one AA battery. The device, as noted by the company, also received an ergonomic shape and a pad for the thumb. The cost of the first mouse with a smell is not disclosed, the device will go on sale in the spring.

In the summer of 2024, Logitech announced a subscription-based “eternal” computer mouse. A few days later, the company abandoned the idea, calling it “terrible.”
