The Deputy Mayor explained that the main objective of the program is to ensure comfortable movement for drivers and pedestrians, to organize convenient routes to residential areas, transport and socially significant facilities.
As part of the improvement, it is planned to replace more than 1.2 million square meters of asphalt concrete road surfaces and over 391 thousand square meters of sidewalks. Pedestrian paths will also be widened, new ground crossings with contrasting lighting and new parking pockets will appear, as well as lanterns with energy-efficient lamps and more than 25 rest areas with comfortable benches.
