The national project "Unmanned aircraft systems" was launched in Russia on January 1, 2024

Over the next six years, 250 billion rubles will be allocated for the implementation of the national project "Unmanned Aircraft Systems". This was announced by Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin, RIA Novosti reports. At a meeting of the Presidential Council for Strategic Development and National Projects, the Prime Minister also noted that "the Unmanned Aircraft Systems project showed a level of achievement close to 100% based on the results of last year." According to Mishustin, this became possible thanks to the combined efforts of private businesses and state corporations, scientific organizations.

The national project "Unmanned aircraft systems" was launched in Russia on January 1, 2024. However, after a meeting on the development of unmanned aircraft systems, which took place in January 2025, Putin gave a number of instructions on the development of this area.
