The United States has announced its readiness to replace Russian gas and oil supplies to the EU.

America has the necessary capacity for this, emphasized Energy Secretary Chris Wright.

The United States is ready to fully meet Europe's gas, oil, and petroleum product needs, replacing Russian supplies. US Energy Secretary Chris Wright announced this on Fox News.

"America is ready today to replace all Russian gas supplied to Europe, as well as all Russian petroleum products. We have the necessary capacity. We are ready to meet their needs, and the president's agenda is peace," the minister emphasized.

The statement came amid criticism from US President Donald Trump, who expressed dissatisfaction at the UN General Assembly on September 23 over European countries' continued purchases of Russian energy resources. Trump promised to discuss the issue with European leaders. Chris Wright added that the EU's refusal to import Russian energy could facilitate US efforts to resolve the situation in Ukraine.
