Artificial intelligence factory in Poznań. Kulczyk's company announces start

• Beyond.pl and Pure Storage announced their cooperation in creating a sovereign artificial intelligence factory.

As stated in the press release, Beyond.pl's offer is based on Nvidia DGX SuperPOD - AI supercomputer infrastructure and software. The architecture of Nvidia Blackwell cards and Nvidia DGX B200, connected and scaled using Nvidia Quantum-2 InfiniBand network, are able to handle a variety of workloads, making them a solution for technology pioneers building, testing and scaling AI-based innovations.

Pure Storage delivers FlashBlade//S500 – consolidated and scalable file and object storage certified for Nvidia DGX SuperPOD. Pure Storage FlashBlade, deployed with DGX SuperPOD and connected via Nvidia Spectrum Ethernet, enables simultaneous processing of multiple data streams, reducing data load times and accelerating the entire model training and inference workflow.

A new initiative in Poznań in line with EU standards

The services offered are compliant with the standards for sovereign data management and with the regulations of the European Union, including the AI ​​Act, GDPR and NIS2 Directive. Data used for training AI models or for inference purposes remains under the full control of the client to minimize the risk of unauthorized access to critical data.

Beyond.pl is the owner and operator of a data center campus with a target capacity of 150 MW, characterized by a mix of security levels (from 3+ to 4).

Beyond.pl data centers are powered by renewable energy sources and emit waste heat

Beyond.pl data centers are also the first in Poland to be powered entirely by renewable energy confirmed by certificates of origin. Data Center 2 facility is also characterized by high energy efficiency (PUE 1.2) and low water consumption (WUE), which places it among the most low-emission facilities in Europe.

The company has also begun cooperation with Veolia Energia Poznań – a local heating network – on a project aimed at recovering waste heat with a capacity of around 30 MW in the first phase of the project. The partnership is the first heat recovery initiative in Poland between companies of this type.
