A minibus caught fire after being welded, injuring one person

The fire broke out in the New Industrial Site in the Sümer neighborhood of Nevşehir. A minibus was undergoing repair work on its hood, and the fire broke out for an as yet unknown reason. As the flames spread rapidly, employees immediately notified the fire department.

Firefighters Responded Quickly

Nevşehir Fire Department and police teams quickly arrived at the scene. The flames were brought under control, but the minibus was completely destroyed and rendered unusable. Cooling efforts were underway in the fire area.

One Person Injured, Vehicle Owner Requests Report

During the fire, employee ES suffered a minor injury to his arm. He was transported to the hospital for treatment. Upon arriving at the scene, the vehicle owner requested police to file an official report.

While the cause of the fire remains unclear, firefighters and law enforcement have launched a detailed investigation. The investigation also includes consideration of safety precautions taken during the welding process.
