A search operation has been launched for two people missing in Uludağ.

Three of the five friends who had set out to hike up Uludağ Mountain attempted to return by cable car when Eyüp K. and Murat A. attempted to walk down from Sarıalan. After losing their way in the forest, the two friends called the 112 Emergency Call Center on their cell phones, requesting help. Following the report, search and rescue teams from the Gendarmerie Search and Rescue (JAK), AFAD ( Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency), and various NGOs were dispatched to the area. Search efforts are ongoing in the area, with teams attempting to locate the missing individuals using the latest signals from their cell phones.
