Attention Istanbulites! These roads are closed to traffic today.

The Tour de France 's official amateur road cycling series, L'Étape Türkiye by Tour de France, is being held in Istanbul . The 112th edition of the race kicks off at the Beykoz Sports Forest. Participants will cycle along the route, which stretches between the Anatolian and European sides.

Meanwhile, traffic police closed the Kavacık junction from the Anatolian to the European side of the bike tour. The alternative route for vehicles crossing from the European to the Anatolian side was Levent. Traffic police were observed taking precautions by closing the bridge to traffic. The roads that will remain closed for the duration of the bike tour are listed below.
