Gun attack in the US: Three police officers killed

Three police officers were killed in a shooting in the US state of Pennsylvania.
Three police officers were killed and two were seriously injured in a shooting in York County, according to The New York Times.
Authorities said the incident occurred at 2:10 p.m. local time when police opened fire on police officers who had gone to a rural area to follow up on an investigation.
Two police officers injured in the clash, in which the attacker also died, were taken to a nearby hospital and are reported to be in critical condition.
US Attorney General Pam Bondi X announced that Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) officers were at the scene supporting local law enforcement.
