The Council of Higher Education (YÖK) has announced the university registration calendar for the 2025-2026 academic year. Accordingly, registration will begin in the last week of August and continue into the first days of September.

E-REGISTRATION DATES AND PROCESS

Candidates can complete their e-registration process between August 28 and September 2, 2025. The steps to follow for e-registration are as follows:

You can log in to the e-Government portal with your Turkish ID number and password.

The "University e-Registration" screen is selected from the "Council of Higher Education" tab.

The university and department are listed and the necessary approvals are given.

Once registration is completed, the system generates a registration document.

Advantage: Your registration is completed before you go to university.

HOW TO REGISTER IN PERSON?

For universities without e-registration or for students who have not registered, in-person registration will be required. Students will register by visiting the university's student affairs office on the designated dates. The following documents are typically required:

High school diploma or provisional graduation certificate

Photocopy of identity card

Photograph

Military service status certificate (for male students)

Contribution/tuition fee receipt (if applicable)

POST-REGISTRATION PROCESS

After registration is completed, students can log into the university system and:

Course selections

Consultant appointments

Other academic procedures

Processes such as preparatory classes or exemption exams will be announced after registration.
