Infantry Sergeant Hüseyin Günay was martyred due to a heart attack while on duty.

The statement was made by the Ministry of National Defense .

The statement made by the Ministry included the message of Minister Yaşar Güler:

"Our heroic comrade-in-arms was martyred on September 17, 2025, due to a heart attack while on duty. On behalf of myself and the members of the Ministry of National Defense, I pray for God's mercy upon our heroic martyr and offer my condolences to his grieving family and our noble nation."
