It was parked in the field and went up in flames!

A vehicle fire that broke out in the Alaca district of Çorum caused panic. The incident took place in a field in the village of Eskiyapar.

According to the information received, the car with the license plate 38 LS 543 belonging to AD caught fire for an unknown reason while it was parked. Citizens who noticed smoke and flames rising from the car reported the situation to the 112 Emergency Call Center.

Upon notification, Alaca Municipality fire brigade teams and gendarmerie were dispatched to the scene. Fire brigade teams quickly intervened, brought the fire under control and extinguished it.

While there was no loss of life or injury in the fire, the car suffered extensive material damage. An investigation has been launched into the cause of the fire.
