Tragic death in Arnavutköy: He died as soon as he got out of the car

A driver lost his life in a traffic accident that occurred at the İmrahor Neighborhood crossing of the D-20 Highway in the Arnavutköy district of Istanbul. The incident took place in the evening hours of July 7.
According to the information received, the driver of the car with the license plate 41 TR 974, OY, parked his car in the emergency lane. At that moment, the minibus with the license plate 34 CYB 169, which was proceeding in the same direction, hit OY, who got out of the car, and the open door of the car.
Minibus Thrown 20 Meters, Crashed into Barriers
Due to the force of the impact, OY was thrown approximately 20 meters forward. The minibus lost control and stopped after hitting the barriers on the side of the road. Police and medical teams were dispatched to the scene upon notification.
Upon examination by the medical teams, it was determined that OY had died at the scene. The minibus driver survived the accident without injury.
Investigation Launched
Police teams took the minibus driver to the police station to give his statement. The body of OY, who lost his life, was taken to the Forensic Medicine Institute morgue. The vehicles involved in the accident were removed from the road with the help of a tow truck, and the road was temporarily closed to traffic for safety reasons.
