SEMINAR

The work of İFSAK (Istanbul Photography and Cinema Amateurs Association), Turkey's most established association in the fields of photography and cinema , continues. Volunteer photography consultants in the İFSAK Seminars and Workshops Unit continue to share their photographic experience with new members. The in-person seminar, organized every 45 days, lasts six weeks, while the "IFSAK Basic Photography Project," held immediately following the seminar, lasts approximately six months. EXHIBITION

Eren İnönü photographs chimneys as the city's unseen monuments. While the chimneys, which rose with the ideals of development, no longer smoke today, they still exist in the artist's camera like a respiratory organ. Unseen Monuments awaits art lovers at Gallery Işık Teşvikiye until November 1st.

• CINEMA

"Springsteen: Rescue Me From Nothing" is a moving cinematic experience starring Jeremy Allen White, recounting the creative process behind Bruce Springsteen's legendary 1982 album Nebraska, focusing on the soul of the music and the inner journey of an artist. The film recounts Springsteen's time before he became a superstar, when he was trapped between the pressures of success and his past.

PERFORMANCE

Melih Kıraç and Tamara Kamola Rashidova's collaborative performance, "New Skin for an Old Ceremony," will be at Arter. Choreographed by Kıraç and performed by Rashidova, the performance explores the body as a ceremonial space and movement as the language of transformation. A co-production with Beykoz Kundura, the performance will be staged at Karbon on Sunday, November 2nd at 3:00 PM and 7:00 PM.

INTERVIEW

Programs parallel to the "Dark World" exhibition at Salt Galata continue with a talk by film critic and researcher Övgü Gökçe. The talk, which will take place at Salt Galata on Tuesday, November 4th at 6:30 PM, will examine the cinematic landscape of the 1950s, a period when cinema in Türkiye was beginning to shed its theatrical influence and maintained a close connection with literature.
