TCG Istanbul frigate hits targets directly

Within the scope of the 'MİLGEM 5th Ship Procurement Project' carried out under the coordination of the Naval Forces Command, it is aimed to increase the localization rate of the TCG İSTANBUL frigate to over 75 percent. For this purpose, the targets were hit with full accuracy in the firing test carried out on the TCG İSTANBUL, which is equipped with domestic weapon systems.

In a statement made on the social media account of the Ministry of National Defense, it was stated that "Our past is glorious, our future is strong. Within the scope of the 'MİLGEM 5th Ship Procurement Project'; the targets were hit with full accuracy with the actual shots fired from the TCG İSTANBUL frigate. We will continue to add strength to our power coming from history."
