Ümit Özağ: There will probably be no CHP mayor left outside soon

Following his release, Zafer Party Chairman Ümit Özdağ held his first press conference at his party’s headquarters. Speaking about the detention of Adıyaman Mayor Abdrurrahman Tutdere, Adana Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Zeydan Karalar and Antalya Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Muhittin Böcek, Özdağ said the following:

"Turkey woke up to a new dawn operation that reminded us of the Ergenekon period, which was run by FETÖ, during the martial law period. VHP Antalya, Adana and Adıyaman Metropolitan Municipality Mayors Zeydan Karalar, Muhittin Böcek and Abdurrahman Tutdere were detained. It seems that soon there will be no CHP mayor left outside. The files of AK Party mayors sent to the courts are not being examined."
