He came down from the summit of Mount Ararat and attended the wedding in his mountaineering uniform.

After reaching the summit, the mountaineer sent a video congratulatory message to his teammates via his mobile phone and, in order not to leave his friends alone, he descended from the summit after a challenging 8-hour journey the same day and reached Van with a 3-hour car ride.

Coming to the wedding hall just before the wedding ceremony ended, Başdinç congratulated the bride and groom, whose wedding he attended with his bag and mountaineering outfit. Those moments of Başdinç, who shared the happiness of his friends by dancing the halay, were both emotional and brought a smile to those who saw them.

Başdinç explained that his passion for mountaineering began at a young age and that he has climbed numerous summits. Noting that his friends' wedding and his mountaineering activities coincided with the same day, Başdinç said, "Because we are a club affiliated with the Turkish Mountaineering Federation and the Ministry of Youth and Sports, we organize annual activity programs. As part of the program, we planned to summit Mount Ararat on July 13-15. My friends' wedding dates also coincided with that day. I was torn between the wedding and the mountaineering program. Later, I joined the activity and summited Mount Ararat. I was saddened not to be with them on their happiest day. I shot and sent a congratulatory video to my friends at the summit."

Başdinç, explaining that he decided to attend his friends' wedding ceremony, which continued into the evening, while he was at the summit, said: "I pushed the team because I wanted to be with my friends on their happy day. It's difficult to descend from the summit of Mount Ararat, which has an altitude of 5,137 meters, on the same day. The bride and groom are members of our club; they met here. I wanted to surprise them, so after an eight-hour hike, we descended Mount Ararat. Then, we drove three hours to Van. I went to the wedding in my mountaineering outfit. We had an unforgettable moment. They thought I wouldn't make it. I walked in just as the audio recording of the video I'd sent was being played over the loudspeaker. The bride and groom were surprised to see me. The hall was filled with both happiness and excitement. I'm happy to have given our friends, who are getting married, an unforgettable day."
