NEWS CENTER - Survivor contestants İsmail Balaban and İlayda Şeker met in the 2021 Survivor season and their friendship quickly turned into love.
'Survivor 2021' champion and two-time champion of Kırkpınar Oil Wrestling, Antalya wrestler İsmail Balaban and İlayda Şeker, who competed in the competition the same year, got married in November 2022. In the first episode of Survivor 2025 , İsmail Balaban announced that his wife was pregnant .

THEIR BABY'S NAME HAS BEEN ANNOUNCED
İlayda Şeker, an active Instagram user, announced the name they would give their baby. Şeker responded to the question, "What will your baby's name be? How many children are you considering?" on social media.

It was learned that Balaban and Şeker couple would name their baby 'İlis'.
HE REVEALED HIS FOOD CREAMS
İlayda Şeker frequently shares Q&A sessions with her followers on Instagram. Şeker, who is pregnant, responded to a follower's question, "Are you craving anything? I was craving tangerines."

Şeker had written the following note in response to the curious question: "Çağla, I had a craving. Yesterday I saw wings in my dream and I was craving them incredibly. Today I'm going to eat wings."
WELCOME BABY ILIS
İsmail Balaban and his wife İlayda Balaban were born with their eagerly awaited baby girl on July 10, 2025. Former Survivor champion Balaban shared his first photo with his daughter İlis.

Balaban had written in his post, "Thank God, we were fortunate enough to hold our child in our arms. May we be blessed to raise him as a virtuous child who is devoted to his religion, country, and flag."

İlayda Balaban published a video on social media about her health condition days after giving birth.
The new mom wrote in her post, "You asked about me. I'm doing great, thank you so much. I'm amazing, I'm a bombshell. I'm that good. Don't worry. I love you. First of all, thank you so much for your kind wishes and messages. I'm so glad you're here. I'm sorry if I couldn't get back to you. I can't even pick up the phone. I had a wonderful birth . Let me tell you that first."
