American-born singer Katy Perry, 40, and former Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, 53, were spotted dining alone at the famed Le Violon restaurant in Montreal. The video, published by the Daily Mail, shows the two leaning toward each other across the table, engaging in a friendly conversation. In the footage, Perry smiles and makes animated gestures while Trudeau listens intently.
Recent times have been quite eventful for both figures. Justin Trudeau announced his resignation as Canadian Prime Minister in January, while Katy Perry received intense criticism for her album "143," released after her split from actor boyfriend Orlando Bloom.
Perry and Trudeau took a walk in a park together before dinner and then shared drinks on the terrace at Taverne Atlantic. In other images shared by the Daily Mail, Perry stood out in a black-and-white dress, while Trudeau wore a navy shirt and trousers.
