A new 12,000-square-meter square is being brought to Ataşehir

Construction on the square for the İçerenköy Metro Station, located in the Water Depot area of Ataşehir, is progressing rapidly. Landscaping work on the 12,000-square-meter square created at the intersection of the İçerenköy, Kayışdağı, İnönü, and Küçükbakkalköy neighborhoods is nearing completion. The square, which will feature tree planting and landscaping, and be furnished with street furniture, will also feature recreational areas and a playground. Additionally, the four-story Atatürk Library and Museum, a 3,249-square-meter structure built by the Ataşehir Municipality on the square, will open soon. The Atatürk Library, Türkiye's largest, will house numerous resources and books about the Great Leader Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, and the Atatürk Museum, which will exhibit Atatürk's personal belongings, will contribute significantly to Istanbul's cultural heritage.
Ataşehir Mayor Onursal Adıgüzel, who inspected the latest work on the square, said, "Our preparations for the square are continuing at full speed at the İçerenköy Metro Station, where the İçerenköy, Kayışdağı, İnönü, and Küçükbakkalköy neighborhoods meet. This 12,000-square-meter square, where the people of Ataşehir can breathe, will soon be open to the public. The Atatürk Library and Museum, located on this square, will serve thousands of citizens in Istanbul. An ATA Café will also be open at the entrance to the Atatürk Library. Our center and square, which will serve all of Istanbul in this area where our four neighborhoods meet, will soon be opened by the Ataşehir and Istanbul Metropolitan Municipalities and will be open to the public."
