Israel launches AI-powered propaganda campaign against Gaza

Israeli Minister of Innovation, Science and Technology Gila Gamliel shared an AI-powered video on social media showing Palestinians being driven from the Gaza Strip. The video, titled "This is what Gaza will look like in the future," showed a reconstructed version of Gaza, which had been devastated by Israeli attacks. The video highlights the area's streets, skyscrapers, cafes, and bars, as well as a business center named after former US President Donald Trump.
The AI-generated video also featured Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his wife, Sara Netanyahu, and Donald Trump and his wife, Melania Trump, walking on the Gaza coast. In his post, Gamliel recalled the proposal he submitted to the Israeli cabinet on October 13, 2023, stating that the "voluntary migration" of Palestinians to other countries would only be possible with Trump and Netanyahu.
Gamliel's use of the phrase "It's either us or them (Palestinians)" in his post drew attention, and the content in question sparked widespread international outrage. The post clearly conveyed the message that Gaza had been completely cleared of Palestinians and turned into an entity under Israeli control.
This post brought Israel's plan to deport Palestinians from Gaza back into the spotlight. Israeli Defense Minister Yisrael Katz announced that he had instructed Chief of General Staff Eyal Zamir to develop a plan to establish a "humanitarian aid city" in Rafah to deport Palestinians to other countries. Katz stated that the goal was to deport first 600,000 Palestinians, and then the entire population of Gaza.
Katz emphasized that Palestinians brought to the tent city to be established under this plan will not be allowed to return to other parts of Gaza, emphasizing that this represents a "strategic opportunity" for Israel. International human rights organizations, however, harshly criticized this plan Israel intends to implement. Describing the aid area as a "concentration camp" rather than a "humanitarian aid city," the organizations stated that the forced displacement of civilians violates human rights.
