THE PEOPLE ARE CRYING BLOODCHP Chairman Özgür Özel met with market vendors and citizens. The citizens and shopkeepers who came to the market shared their concerns about the economy with Özgür Özel. Describing the economic situation of the visitors, the shopkeeper said, "Our people are in a very difficult situation. They come with 200 lira, but strawberries cost 150 lira per kilo, and they want strawberries for 10 lira. As a shopkeeper, I'm heartbroken."

Another shopkeeper told Özgür Özel, "The tomatoes we sell in the market cost 15 lira, while the villagers earn 3 lira.
