The Homeland Party has been shut down! Muharrem İnce pointed to the CHP and said, "Whoever is worried about their rank should leave us."
Muharrem İnce , who left the CHP to found the Homeland Party and later returned to it, announced in a social media post that they had decided to shut down the Homeland Party following the congress's decision. Addressing his party members, İnce said, "I can't help but feel the heartbreak in some of you. Please don't feel defeated or abandoned. The Republican People's Party is a party that embraces all of our discourses and claims. The path may change, the traveler may change, but the goal remains unchanged! Muharrem İnce is the unranked soldier of this cause. Whoever is concerned about their rank should leave us."
Muharrem İnce, founder and Chairman of the Homeland Party, announced in a statement on the social media platform X that the party was closed in line with the decision taken at the congress.
Addressing party members and especially young people, İnce made the following statement:
"Dear Homeland Party members, The Homeland Party, which we founded under extraordinary circumstances and with limited resources, has decided to shut down today at its congress. I can't help but feel the heartbreak some of you feel. You know best the conditions and sacrifices we made to establish this party, and the lengths we strived to keep it afloat. The greatest sacrifices were made by my young friends who wrote the banners, hung them on bridges, paraded around with loudspeakers, and worked until dawn. On behalf of myself and my country, I cannot thank you enough.
Dear young people, Our sole purpose is to carry Atatürk's Turkey to a bright future. To keep the secular Republic of Turkey alive. To elevate our country above contemporary countries in science, technology, literature, and sports. We have not deviated one bit from this goal. Your efforts have never been in vain. Please do not feel defeated or abandoned. The current political climate necessitates that we come together, put aside our petty differences, and walk shoulder to shoulder, heart to heart. The Republican People's Party is a party that embraces all of our discourses and claims. The path may change, the traveler may change, but the goal remains unchanged! Muharrem İnce is the unranked soldier of this goal. Whoever seeks rank should leave us. Whoever believes in this goal should join our arms and march. Our love for our country did not begin with the Homeland Party, and it will not end with it! Now is the time to strengthen the ranks of the CHP.

Invited to the CHP Group Meeting on June 24, 2025, Homeland Party Chairman Muharrem İnce returned to the CHP by wearing a badge. In his speech, İnce said, "I did not come here today out of arrogance or regret. I did not come here for personal gain either. I came here at the sincere invitation of our Chairman Özgür Özel."
