They got stuck in the cable car in Uludağ

Holidaymakers who wanted to go up to Uludağ, one of the important ski resorts of winter tourism, by cable car were stranded in cabins due to a power surge on the cable car line.

Holidaymakers who waited for 35 minutes on stationary cable cars were taken down to the station by the authorities with diesel engines and evacuated. Citizens who wanted to go down to the city center formed a queue of meters in the Sarıalan area.

Bursa Teleferik A.Ş. made a statement on its social media account and said, “Dear Guests, The fault caused by the power surge has been resolved with the intervention of our technical team. Our facility will continue to provide service after the necessary checks are made. Thank you for your understanding.”
