Tragic incident in Porsuk, Eskişehir: Body found after search

The body of a person who fell into the Porsuk Stream, which flows through Eskişehir city center, has been recovered. The incident occurred on Suboyu Street in the Mustafa Kemal Paşa neighborhood. Walking along the stream, 52-year-old MA fell into the water for an as yet unknown reason. Police, healthcare workers, AFAD (Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency), and Eskişehir Metropolitan Municipality teams were dispatched to the scene after witnesses alerted them.

After arriving at the scene, teams launched a search in the Porsuk River. AFAD divers entered the water and joined the search. The search led to the discovery of M.A. M.A. was pulled from the water and pronounced dead by medical teams.

Following the work of crime scene investigators, the body of M.A. was taken to the morgue of Eskişehir Osmangazi University Health, Practice and Research Hospital for an autopsy. An investigation has been launched into how the incident occurred.
