Content is designed to develop both ideas and skills, focusing on application and participation. Instructors complete the lesson plans prepared for each class period, focusing on activities, practice, and assessment. Instructors strive to ensure that all participants understand the course content and complete the exercises thoroughly. In addition, instructors monitor participant progress, assessing student participation in the activities and the quality and quantity of cognitive responses. To this end, they implement methods that encourage student participation in all classes.
