Bengisu Avcı achieved a historic success

Ultra marathon swimmer Bengisu Avcı completed the 41.2-kilometer North Channel between Ireland and Scotland, one of the most challenging stages of the Oceans Seven course, which consists of seven open water channels in the world, by swimming in 10 hours and 48 seconds.
According to a statement from Avcı's communications office, ultramarathon swimmer Bengisu Avcı successfully crossed the North Channel, one of the world's most challenging challenges, renowned for its cold water, strong currents, strong winds, and tides. Having previously crossed the English Channel, Gibraltar, Catalina, Cook, and Molokai, Avcı also became the first Turk to complete all six stages of the "Ocean Seven" series.
